Ilia embodies a new type of Chef – one that embraces the fascinating science of healing and constructs and cooks menus that are prescribed for diverse medical conditions. Ilia has had a lifelong fascination with food and nutrition, and their connection to a healthy body. Her culinary journey began at the Natural Kitchen School, a vegan-based gourmet program. She then studied at the prestigious Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in New York City, a 600-hour formal chef training. She also attended the Matthew Kenney Academy in Oklahoma to learn gourmet raw cuisine. Her training impressively includes nutritional certifications as well including attending The Global college of Natural Medicine in Santa Cruz, CA, and becoming a certified nutrition practitioner through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. She also holds an MS in Integrative Health and Healing from The Graduate Institute in Connecticut. She truly cooks with a purpose… always delivering high quality ingredients and enjoyable menus. She is available to cook and deliver, or in some cases, offer in-home cooking, covering many different dietary needs. She works closely with Dr. Leventhal and Jenn Lowenfish and all cases are reviewed with the medical team. We are fortunate to have such a highly trained chef who is so attuned to the medical needs of our various patients, and is a true partner in the journey.
